Problems - EP marked a pivotal moment for the otag crew: a more cohesive, polished project built around a unified theme. It sent a clear message to the world—otag and its members were ready to pursue music as a career. Or so they thought. The EP showcased Edgar’s evolved production style, which took a darker, more aggressive turn compared to his earlier work. This transformation was no accident: otag founder Josh had spent countless hours mentoring Edgar, sharing his techniques and the secrets behind his unique sound. Those long nights at Josh’s mansion left a lasting impression, inspiring Edgar to fuse his melodic sensibilities with Josh’s hard-hitting, intricate drum patterns. After experiencing that kind of raw energy, it’s safe to say Edgar couldn’t return to making pop.
Problems also introduced Dan as the sole rapper on the project. His cold, calculated delivery perfectly complements the haunting whispers that echo throughout the tracks. And, of course, we can’t overlook the return of Ana, whose ethereal vocals shine on Le Portrait de Cosette. This track is a standout moment, seamlessly blending the trio’s talents into something truly unforgettable.
